Many people have at one time or another started having computer errors related to the registry. However, usually they are unsure of what to look for in registry repair software. Usually when people are looking for software to fix a windows registry, they are having random crashes, or errors at boot up, or something like that. Generally, the computer is misbehaving in some fashion or another. For this we clearly need some software that can run a scan an present a list of errors in the windows operating system environment. The scan should be thorough, searching through as large a set of potential problems as possible. This will significantly increase the chance of finding a particular error that is causing problems. After the scan, it should have the ability to fix the errors automatically. Or, it should at least provide information on how to correct the problem is the software is unable to fix it for some reason. If repair software cannot do this, then I will not recommend it at all. Basically, it is mandatory that the software have the ability to do this.
Another feature that I look for in registry software, is the ability to perform routine maintenance. This will go a long way to help prevent problems from ever happening. This preventative maintenance is something that is all too often overlooked.
