RAM (Random Access Memory) DDR4

This time I will write about the RAM (Random Access Memory) which will now go to a standard series of the latest technology, DDR4. DDR4 memory standard is expected to begin production in 2013.

In mid-February 2012 and, DDR4 memory standard has been demonstrated diajang ISSCC (International Solid-State Circuits Conference).

According to information, the RAM is working at a speed of 2400MHz (2400Mb per second) and requires a power of 1.2 volts.

The latest news mentions, Samsung, announced that it has created the World's first DDR4 DRAM. Samsung says that the DDR3 memory modules in use today requires about 1.5V electric current, while the new DDR4 modules will use just 1.2V.

Hopefully the emergence of this memory can be mass produced faster than the time expected, and the price is not too expensive.
