Change Boot Screen in Vista using Aurora

If you are bored with the boot screen is the default in Windows Vista, try to use the Aurora, which is one of the Feature in Vista.


If you want to activate the "Aurora" boot screen, follow the instructions below:

1. Press Windows + R combination on your keyboard to display the Run dialog.

2. Type MSCONFIG.EXE

3. If User Account Control menu prompts you to allow the action, click on “Continue.”

4. In the "System Configuration" window, click on the "Boot" tab.

5. Select the installation of Windows Vista and the "Boot options", check the "No GUI boot."

6. Press OK.

7. If the dialog appears, click "Do not show this message again," and then click "Restart".

8. Restart your computer, and you will see the "Aurora" boot screen with text that says "Starting Windows Vista."
